The process
HR Participants
We act as the middleman between researchers in need of project participants and HR professionals looking to participate in research and/or simply make extra money.
Application process
Our process is simple! You can complete our application here.
Types of projects
Participate in projects in person or from the comfort of your home. The projects that you participate in will depend on your expertise - there are lots of formats and topics to choose from!
What we’ll talk about
You can share your personal opinions, how you decide which tools to use, your experiences in your career (as long as they aren't covered in a non-disclosure agreement), your predictions for HR, and your thoughts on other HR-related topics. Make sure to read below about what you may not share!
What we won’t talk about
You cannot disclose any confidential information, such as commercial secrets, material non-public or proprietary information (MNPI), information covered by any nondisclosure agreement(s) to which you are a party, regardless of where it comes from (i.e., past or present employment relationships, directorships, consulting engagements, etc.).
Set your own rates
Most of the projects you’ll receive are focused on decision-making around HR software, benefits plans, evaluations you’ve done, or trends in the HR industry. We encourage you to set an hourly rate that you’re happy with, but don’t be concerned if you don’t know where to start!
These are the middle 75% range that we see HR professionals charging for studies:
Individual Contributors - $90-$180/hr
Managers - $135-225/hr
Directors - $200-$300/hr
VPs - $275-$360/hr
CHRO - $330-$425/hr
*These will vary based on your industry, company size, experience, geography, goals, etc. If you want a second opinion to help maximize time + earnings, we’re here to help!
Why HR Participants?

Researchers want to learn more about HR decision making, tool selection processes, and new trends. Get paid for sharing your perspective.
Work on multiple project types
Choose to participate in interviews, focus groups, surveys, product reviews, and more, all from the comfort of your home!
Meet Other HR Professionals
Focus groups are a great way to learn about what's going on in the industry. It’s common for new relationships and friendships to result from these groups.
